Submit an abstract
The BAF committee is granting a limited number of grants for early career researchers with interesting talk proposals, so do not hesitate to submit an abstract for a talk (300 words max.). Looking forward to hearing from you!
We welcome submissions for...
- 10 minutes maximum (5 minutes discussion)
- of academic standard but aimed at a non-specialist audience
- concise and communicative
You are encouraged to seize this opportunity to bring forward new ideas/projects (big or small) and bounce them off specialists from other fields. The talks will be vidcasted.
If you would like to be considered for a grant please attach to your abstract a short paragraph (100 words max.) summarising your financial situation at this stage of your career.
Newly published (co-) authors/editors are invited to present their books during the BAF through 5 minutes "book sessions" that take place during the coffee breaks (think "poster session" but with books).
Deadline for submitting abstracts: 15 March 2019, midnight GMT +01:00. Abstracts for talks and book presentations should be sent in Word format (1-sided single page, A4). Please send abstracts to firstname.lastname@example.org. Submitting an abstract does not confirm your attendance. To confirm your attendance you must register.
